Mission Statement
The parish of Linslade is called to be a place where God is loved and worshipped, and where His love is shown and magnified.
We want to live up to this calling as far as we can.
We want to know God’s love in our worship, and witness to it in our life as a community, and in our engagements with those around us. We want to help more people to know God’s love and respond to it with joy.
There are many ways in which we already respond to this calling: we share in the Good Friday act of witness; we visit Elm Lodge Care Home; we celebrate a Baby Barnacles Toddlers’ Service and a monthly All-Age Eucharist; we run a Tuesday morning Toddler Group in the Hall; and hold regular Messy Churches for young families. But God is always calling us onwards into new life, to try new things, and to examine where we are. We must be continually open to the call of His Holy Spirit, and we welcome new ideas and new people into our fellowship.
